Showing the variations during the game in a picture-in-picture is so much extra work but SO COOL! Thank you for doing that.

What's crazy is that Alex doesn't have more subscribers!! I learn more from this free videos than all my paid courses.

the copycat variation is amazing because it looks completely fine for black after they take on f2, but then black has to find a bunch of only moves to not lose

Alex, I am a genuine old man, and so am hoping you outlive me by many decades. Whatever the case may be, you have already written the epithet for your tombstone:

"And that having been said, it is really time to move on to the following game."

Showing the variations during the game is so useful for a noob like me to visualise lines. Thanks a ton Alex.

Dude, you made a mini video of your calculations?!? That's amazing, I've never seen anyone do that

That was Chad move, respect

25:03 Qf3 is actually the move Gotham recommended in his course. He just don’t play his own recommendations sometimes.

Every time I play my games after watching these videos, I wish I had Alex behind me saying "on this we have a nasty trap!" But I rarely see them, lol. Guarantee I would boost my rating by 500+ points if I could see those quicker. Something to strive for. Keep the videos coming! Love 'em.

"Queen's knight, start with the bishop;
King's knight, you do the gambit."
I will have to remember this simple formula.

I love this opening. And it is fascinating, that it works against strong players too. In the main line I had a big advantage against one of the best Hungarian U12 (1950 FIDE). And a totally winning position against a strong 1900. (Both in classical)

Excellent presentation, cheers. I have always like playing the Vienna game/gambit for a long time, its nice to see others who are interested in this opening as well.

I like how intuitive and natural the vienna game is. I need to try this more often. My old opening was the italian game

Ahhh this is what I needed. I am a ferocious 1200 elo noob lol. I've been playing the King's Gambit for 3 or so months, since my addiction to chess suddenly began and I started watching chess videos on YouTube. With the King's Gambit, I tend to end up with a massive centre very often, and am familiar with various sacs and just generally hammering the F file, so nice to play (but lately my opponents have not been cooperative). This opening reminds me so much of the King's Gambit with the F pawn push. But this opening sort of includes it, but it's nice to have everything organised in a better move order, and covers the variations in single video. It answers some of the questions (and doubts) I had when playing the King's Gambit, now I know what to do. I've been playing the Caro defense after studying your videos, but still need an alternative when they don't go E4 so also watching your videos on Black London, but also the Jobava London as an alternative to Vienna. Love the style, the vibe, the analogies, the overall quality and educational value of your videos. Thank you.

The educational and entertainment angles to your content are both top shelf. When you add to that your reactions to computer assessments of your moves and strategy... I can't stop grinning. Thank you. I place top 2-3% on online tournaments but I keep switching my repertoire because of you. You make chess fresh, and fun!

The picture in picture effect is next level for beginners being able to follow what you're saying. Nice job on that!
