I have always hated tucking to tile on concrete, you are 100% right, the gully has to be 1/4" to a maximum of 5/16"

I hate that pad. Its nice and soft though. We just use regular pad glue. I never use zbar next to tile. If the carpet is cut the right length and tucked in right itll never come untucked.
