Well I never really planned on making an AMV with The Greatest Showman music... until I heard this cover. WHOOPS.

I don't usually edit action like this, but editing with Revue Starlight was so much fun! It's a really beautiful and dazzling show. It feels kinda like a miracle it exists at all.

(BTW, Giraffe is best character =P).

So a) the editing is fantastic, b) you not only introduced me to Revue Starlight, but also to the music of The Greatest Showman, since I've somehow missed both, and c) you've nailed one of the key elements of the art of the AMV, which is not only syncing the source materials together but telling a story that's distinct from both. I'd have applauded loudly for this if I'd seen it at a show, and it's been constantly on my mind since it was shown to me a few days ago. For all the flashy, spot on editing I think the cut I appreciated the most was Hikari and Karen looking at each other in their moment of shared awe at 2:24 . A fantastically captured moment of subtlety in an otherwise dazzling spectacle! 🍅

This is still my favorite AMV I ever saw. I had decided to watch this anime back when they dropped their promo in 2017. This is my favorite franchise. The years I have been fan of this franchise have been my favorite.
