Making Calming Lavender Goat Milk Soap in a Slab Mold

In this video, we'll show you how we make our Calming Lavender Goat Milk & Oatmeal soap and talk though each step. This video is pretty much entirely real-time, so come along with us and see how we make soap in our studio! Calming Lavender is one of our top-selling bars and is a very soothing and gentle bar of soap. The high butters in this soap, along with goat milk and oatmeal create a smooth and creamy bar. Slab mold was handmade by us (by Troy!). Our slab mold is lined with freezer paper, which we purchase from Webstaurant.

We purchase our oils in drums from Soaper's Choice and our butters from Bulk Apothecary. Our essential oils in this recipe are from New Directions Aromatics and our Lye is from Duda Diesel and/or Bulk Apothecary.

10 oz lye
10 oz water
10 oz goats milk
60 oz oil - coconut, palm, olive, caster
6 oz essential oil (3 frankensense, 3 myrrh)
