🟥 DISCLAIMER: I make these videos to share my own personal methods and techniques for how I make cold process soap. These videos are not intended as tutorials for beginners. The content I create is meant for those who already have an understanding of cold process soap making. Cold process soapmaking involves working with sodium hydroxide (NaOH, also referred to as lye). Lye and raw soap can permanently damage your eyes and burn your skin. When making soap, you should already know and practice lye safe handling procedures and always wear safety gear during the entire soapmaking process, even while cleaning up. I hope you find watching my videos helpful or entertaining. However, due to the many variables that can affect a particular batch of soap, if you do try any of my methods or techniques that I use in my videos, I cannot be held liable or responsible for your results.

I have been. making soap for more than 30 years and YOU are simply the best - your skill, presentation, demonstration, technique are all just the best!! I have learned so much from you. This information was simply not available 30 years ago! It's wonderful ... thanks to you, I'm making it again and selling it in local stores and am thinking of having a website for it.

Lovely! Can more shea butter be used to replace the cocoa butter if I don't have any? I'd appreciate any tips on swapping out butters. Thanks!

I made soap for the first time today using your recipe! I didn't realize how fast the mixture hardens once you add the lye, so I left for a minute and it was solid xD I had to scoop it into the mold, so hopefully it doesn't have too many air bubbles, but I had so much fun! I added oats and apricot powder on top for decoration. Thank you!!!

Hi Holly, I always grind my organic oats myself on my Vitamix . I use one ounce of honey by weight per pound of oil and never had a problem, no refrigerator no freezer and always goes to gel, but my aloe Vera, cucumber and coconut milk soap always overheads and cracks, weird!! Love your videos, pure excellences! Thank you so much
