I really like this format and would love to see more! Rendering can be challenging when you're trying to guess the underlying principles behind what you see on the computer screen. So more content like this would be awesome!! Keep doing what your doing

Two Books which I found recently Fantastic and Affordable are the William Vaughan's Topology Volume 1 and 2 which would be helpful to all to have Good understanding in a Lesser Time.

Great video and book recommendations Will! I always use YouTube and blogs to learn the fundamentals, but I am always curious about the 'why' behind each of the settings that I change in KeyShot. I really am curious about learning why a light/material/render looks better with certain settings compared to just randomly clicking buttons. It is really difficult to find those advanced descriptions online, so I will definitely check out these books. Thanks again, and I would love to see more videos like this!

Thanks for recommendation, by the way do you have tutorial for multi-material in Keyshot? I use alot of masks in Maxwell/Cycles etc, but I dont understand how to use that masks for material blending in Keyshot - like I have 8 masks (leather, 2 different velvet, 3 complex IOR metals, 3 paint layers) and in Maxwell/Cycles I use black as 1st material / white as 2nd material, and then another texture with both previous materials + new one on top.

Is there any books about materials? I want to find what kind of absorption distance is for certain materials, but I end up just guessing it cause there is 0 useful info I can find (mostly its scientific stuff like that [Absorption coefficient α = 0.0020857 cm-1], and how do I convert it to mm, cm, m?)
