“Operating outside of core competencies” means “you’re learning too much and becoming too valuable” and “coercive tendencies” means “you are too knowledgeable, articulate and persuasive”

"Operating outside of my core competencies" used to be "going above and beyond."

HR is called "Human Resources" because they treat you like some expendable material.

The actor playing the spawn of Satan is either an extremely good actor or is a HR person moonlighting.

Holy shit...As a new manager, this hits home. HR completely overstepping during performance review time. Destroying my team cohesion and undermining all the work I've done to build trust and 'buy in' from my team.

So true of many HR people who work to be above the entire organisation.

Worked for a company that was heading to the dumps. CEO terminated every member of HR and had management deal directly with employees. Dropped all the stupid drinks in the warehouse regs and all the other demoralizing middle management corpo rules. Moral improved almost overnight. Production increased and profits soared. I left that company in good standing and as far as i know they're still trucking hard to this day.

"We've identified some latent weaknesses" I love this because latent means hidden, not yet active.

"Tony: I wanted her promoted! HR: And that almost happened!" Talk about two people being not on different pages but completely different books, hilarious!! :D

I have seen more than once HR turn stable workplaces into clusterfucks. This is spot on!

One of the best comedy shows ever to exist. The actress playing Beverly absolutely nails a HR person.

I'm cheering for the dude so freaking hard. A true leader. I would have confronted the HR lady the same.... eh, actually, probably not the same. I would have done it way more aggressively.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"10-15 YEARS FOR MANSLAUGHTER!"
I busted out laughing when he said that!
