That roast beef had some profound tensile strength. Quite the platonic ideal of a sandwich!

When Nick asks the waiter if they dip the cheeseburger and he replies "if you want it", I got the impression that if you ordered a cup of coffee and asked for it to be dipped, they'd figure out a way of making that work.

Im 42, been eating there since kindergarten...best roast beef sandwich...and when you get it dipped, it's called an "KFJ"(knife, and fork job)..it was really funny when you picked up the KFJ with your hand

Tip from a local: Dont get the sandwich dipped, get the gravy on side.

don't think I'm a fan of the wet bread. but I think, like most people have mentioned here, the sauce would be better off the side so you can pour it (or dip in it) later. I still prefer the bread to hold its shape while you're taking a bite out of it.

I'd eat there just to get served by this waiter. Seems like he knows his stuff and is funny AF in a Peter Griffin sort of way.

Profound, ethereal, iconic, evocation, viscous, imbued, tensile strength

I ate eight sausages for dinner. Sausages are so deceptive.
When you're eating them you feel nothing so you binge but an hour later you feel sick. What a confusing world.

I trust that Chef!! He obviously has been eating really well.

I'd get it on the side and pour it on the meat. I am not a fan of soggy ass bread. But, good job Nick. Notably less pretentious here!

I went to Brennan & Carr after the Aviators Hockey games back a few years ago. one of the best sandwiches i ever had. I had a budweiser with it and all was great

I used to hate nick, but shit like 0:29 and other little nuances over the series makes me realise he's not a prick in the slightest. Especially that meat show throwback, like ordering straight vodka because they had no water. Such a giggle.

0:29 Nick’s got that step back on point👌

The roast beef looks delicious and I'm sure the juice is really good too, but soggy bread is disgusting. I don't care what it's soaked with... gross gloopy soggy bread is a big nope.

Amen to that, brother. Amen to that.
