Yes me too. What I think you’re referring to is you don’t like management roles where you have to babysit others and correct their wrong behavior. I too prefer having a technical job. Some people enjoy management positions more

My stress from any job comes from expectations, and standards that management has that they let you run into versus advising you of how they want things done.

This is why I've never taken a managerial or supervisory position. Because I would just want to do it myself! I rather assist my manager in facilitating trainings. In interviews I have the hardest time explaining this when they ask the why haven't you moved up question 😢

I’ve been in the military for 15 years and I’m about to start my bachelors at WGU for Cybersecurity so I can enter the field when I get out. It’s funny because people management is all I do now and I couldn’t agree more 😂 atleast I’ll be well prepared for that aspect of the job.
