This game was brutal. The whole point of these games is to see who the better team is. Between some deserving some penalties, quite a few very questionable ones, and obviously the QB injuries this very good Niners team had zero chance. Gotta feel for the team, fans, and anybody that bet on them lol

Kyle Shanahan always makes at least one big blunder in game management during a big game. I think he's brain freezes and goes numb at certain times in crucial moments. He should have clearly challenged that long ball catch on that first drive at such a huge moment in the game. The incompletion (which it clearly was) would have given 49ers the ball in Phlly territory with MOMENTUM since it would have been a 4th down stop. Also Brock isn't injured because it changes the entire sequence/trajectory of the ball game. During the first half of games, preserving timeouts aren't as important as evident in most games where teams go into the half with their timeouts unused. And for Kyle not to take a chance because he's concerned about saving his timeouts that he didn't even use is absolutely ridiculous. Even the delay of games could have been avoided if Kyle uses a timeout. Again the 2nd half, Kyle had at least 2 timeouts left when the game ended. Well I guess he can save it for his next game! Ludicrous.

As a Niner fan I realize it wouldn't have made a big difference if Brock was healthy because their defense gave up 31 pts. They're not likely gonna win a shootout with Philly especially when Brock tends to struggle against a good pass rush. Niners looked good in their previous games but have some work to do in the offseason. Congrats, Philly. You have an impressive team.
