Add a effects loop and you have the gear of the year as far as I tell, price point amazing, functionality ease of use amazing, takes pedals well amzing, portability Boom! No effects loop puzzling considering you guys make great pedals that I use in my effects loop! Old fenders and Marshalls no effects loop, but you could have it here.

About the missing effects loop in this Tonex unit, if you have a HXFX or a Helix, but the Tonex unit into the Send and Return of the HXFX/Helix and then add an FX block. That's where the Tonex will sit in your chain. I do this already with other pre-amp pedals.

Now the big 400$ question... can you have one output WITH the cab, and the other one WITHOUT? Or if not, could this be done in a future firmware update? This is actually an absolute must for my ideal use case (direct output to FOH, but still have real cabs onstage)

Hey Tonex! Please produce a unit that would allow stereo in, separate amp/cab for left and right, and XLR out. That IS the combination that would make you to a market leader. Also, keeping the footprint smaller than 2 separate Tonex pedals is a must. I would gladly pay more for that unit. Please send this to management.

Started using this beautiful unit and having a question.
In TONEX Software I've found a tone model which sounds awesome, however, after importing this tone model to Tonex pedal and listeting it through the headphones output, it doesn't sound the same, the audio quality not even nearly as good as on a computer.
Am I missing something?

I really love the idea, but for me this needs an fx loop. If it had an effects loop this could have been a back up for my amp, a way to practice silently at home with my pedal board, ... also depening on the type of gig i could just leave the amp and cabinet at home.

How many amps and cabs come preloaded, and what are they?

I shall buy the first kind of unit that comes out with an effects loop so I can run my effects between my amp and cab sim and play through my headphones. Without the effects loop these units like the iridium, UA pedals and this is pretty useless to me as I cannot add my delays, reverbs, etc between the amp emulation and cap sim. Someone add an effects loop please.

Unfortunately, i miss a mute switch. What do you suggest for live situations to mute the pedal by pressing just one switch? I do not want to use, for example, a tuner to mute the signal.

How much gain control is there? For example, on some modelling amps I have played with a model based on, say, a JTM45, the amount of gain on the model is way too high, and there is no way to get a clean tone without leaving the gain on .5 or lower.

Hi. Impressive pedal! Q: Using the TONEX pedal as an audio interface, can we record both wet and dry into the DAW simultaneously, and then (if we choose) re-amp afterwards?
