Become familiar with the processes involved in projecting 2D bitmap images on to NURBS surfaces. In this instructional video, George takes a NURBS surface and uses the projection tools in Maya to accurately apply the map to the surface. He then shows you how to adjust and refine the placement of the map that has been applied.

Why does my object texture seem to significantly darken when I apply a texture?

I cant undo using 3D paint, and when I select the tool, it resets the painted mesh.

Aaahhh!!! When I hit save textures it saved over my existing texture under sourceimages! It didn't create a texture under 3dPaintTextures!

Cool 😎 Thanks 😃 This will help with flag painting 🙂

For the course, we have to make a city with a bunch of buildings. And being from Chicago, I want to recreate many skyscrapers like the Sears Tower and even some from New York; including the World Trade Center (the original two). Then I thought that in memorial; I should attach American flags 🇺🇸 to all the skyscrapers’ antennas 🤩 Sure my teacher is a bit of a far-left SJW, but I’m willing to take the risk in including painted American flags 🇺🇸 😎
