This software unfold sheet measurement calculations are correct or not for cutting size???

Starting at the ISO.dwg, when I select "Base", "Folded Model" is the only one I can select, I can't choose the "Flat Pattern". Also depending on where I last saved the sheetmetal.ipt (either folded or unfloded) that is the only way it will display in the ISO.dwg. By that I mean if I last save the sheetmetal.ipt in the "unfolded" state it will be it will be "unfolded" in the ISO.dwg, even though the option "folded" is checked. Simply put I cant create a folded and unfolded view in my ISO drawing unless I create 1 folded view then go back to the .ipt, unfold it and save then go back and create another "Base" . Any suggestions? Is it an association issue?
