How to mod - Learn the modding process - New player Warframe guide

DISCLAIMER: YES I'M AWARE OF SPELLING MISTAKES - im mildly dislexic and dont have an editor so relying on my grammer/spelling is asking a lot.

So this series is a bit more in depth but I think its important to realise that build guides are quite superficial so I want to help people to learn the way to mod them selves that way they can understand modding principles better and make their own decisions.

Lets face it someone else showing you a build is alright but it isnt exactly going to encourage a good learning process so in this im going to try and show you the ins and outs of a pipe line that can aid anyone learning the game and modding semantics, Warframes are a bit more convaluted so this video in particular might need to be taken a little more lightly.

i ve learned moding in warframe from youtube XD just copying the ways stramers are building .. not the actualy builds .. so this helped me and in like 2 weeks i know how things work ... its not so difficult to mod corectly .. the difficult part its to learn where to take the mods you need to mod corectly

When I first started modding, I was focused on getting the most out of my abilities. I didn't have a single survivability mod in any of my builds. Now I actually make use of Vitality, Adaptation, Quick Thinking, and sometimes Rolling Guard along with mods to enhance my frame abilities. I learned a lot just by using other people's builds, and now I don't need to.

Im still a beginner (uranus) but heres almost all you need.
Frame: Steel fiber - redirection - vitality (this should already take up most/all of your mod slots unless you have orokin catalyst)
primary: serration/ point blank - status mod(s) - any other mod you want (depends on the weapon)
melee: Fury - pressure point - any stance mod you can get your hands on - any other mod you want (depends on weapon)

Thank you dude, just started playing 3 days ago and I didn't even realize I could upgrade mods. I also just realized the polarity thing yesterday. I'm still in the process of trying to get rhino but anyways, thank you so much.

From what I’ve noticed with modding is just not having the good mods. Once you have most of the mods and have them at good levels, it’s mostly a case of testing out which mods affect which abilities you want.

My buddy went through his phase of being terrible with modding. He picked up the game when I told him he could sadistically murder the masses in it, he bought it, immediately bought Nekros, then bought Valkyr Prime, then got to about three quarters through Earth, then rage quit when a Lv5 Lancer would continually kick his ass because he was too impatient to slow down and learn to actually put mods on things.

I hate when I see insanely crap builds that just stop the game for the player and just do nothing.
It's not their fault, just the game needs this(or similar video) at the start.
