Verse 1
The changing of sunlight to moonlight
Reflections of my life
Oh how they fill my eyes
Verse 2 (Repeat)
The greetings of people in trouble
Reflections of my life
Oh how they fill my eyes

Chorus
Oh my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home

Chorus (Repeat)
Oh my crying (Oh my crying)
Feel I'm dying, dying
Take me back
To my own home

Verse 3 (Repeat Verse 1)
I'm changing, arranging,
I'm changing,
I'm changing everything
Everything around me

Verse 4 (Repeat Verse 1)
The world is
A bad place
A bad place
A terrible place to live
Oh but I don't wanna die ...

Chorus (2 x)

This song was popular when my father moved us from the suburbs to the country. I was 14, sad and upset having lost all of my friends. Now I am 65 and told that I am terminal and can go any day. This song stirs so many memories and tears.

This song was released just after I began my 13 month tour in 1969. It has a very special meaning for me....and the fact I managed to make it home in one piece, for which I'm grateful beyond words.

Reflections of my life is just that, memories. 50 years later this song is still as beautiful to me as the 1st time I listened. What talent!!!

I loved this song back in 1969. I have just turned 79 and I still love it. Makes me cry!

I am now in the winter of my years and have cast out many memories that no longer seem real to me. Yet, when I hear this tempered piece of music, it stills me, and for a brief moment I drift back to the summer of my life and feel the warmth of those years.

My sister passed away one day before her 60th birthday. She would help me sleep at night when I was a child by playing music for me. This was her favorite. Love you Cindy 😍

As you get older, people and things fade from life.
You really want to relive those days just one more time.

"The world is a bad place, a bad place to live, but I don't want to die" .... prophetic line in today's situation.

I thank my dad for his amazing taste in music. It is because of him that I appreciate this music.

I’m 67 years old. This song brings back memories of the Vietnam war and social unrest in America when I was younger, but it shines a spotlight on the world today.

I just turned 68 and listened to this with the lyrics. I remember it from my youth but never ever paid attention to the lyrics. Made me sad listening to it now. Brought me back to my youth but mostly what it is saying is so true.

Released 7 days after my 20th. birthday. Now, every time I hear it, I think of all that has changed since then. Rest assured, as you reach a certain age, you will see exactly how relevant this song truly is. Absolutely no music can hold a candle to the music of the late 60's and early 70's. Such great songs by so many great artist...many of which are no longer with us. I would say that their music will never die, but much of it has been forgotten except by those that were around when it first came out.
