REFLECTIONS OF MY LIFE--THE MARMALADE (NEW ENHANCED VERSION) HD AUDIO

I had to reload this after listening to the backtracks. There were some glaring mistakes in the enhanced vocals in certain sections so I took an hour to correct. I have to be more careful before I upload to listen to the final mix through the studio monitors instead of the headphones. There is a big difference in what I hear in the studio
monitors . Besides that--there are radio stations that play these recordings on their oldies shows so I need to make sure they are top notch.!

OMG, this is just what I needed. I do remember this song, I'm a New Yorker, have been living and working in the state of Washington for the last 25 years in the medical field. Due to the covid situation ("the world is a terrible place, but I don't want to die") and financial strain on the system I was just asked to take early retirement. As I look at where my life is, single and alone out here, I think perhaps it's time to go back home to NY. The song is bittersweet for me, swirling in emotions and tears as I come to terms with where my life is at now, "take me back, to my own home". I'm lucky to have a younger brother in NY that will be helping me with the move. Funny, this video just showed up as a suggestion for viewing. Thank you for posting.

This brings back so many memories. When we are young we take so much for granted. If I could transfer wisdom to the young it would be to live in the moment and appreciate everything around them, friends, family, the things that give joy and being alive.
