I found the forces on the hinge and pin A correctly but Ey was 4.5, İ broke the frame into two pieces because the hinge has two unknowns acting on both frames equallly in magnitude and in opposite direction

so the steps are not the same for beams with internal hinge where you have to separate the two spans first?
for frames, you solve for the support reactions first, and then you can solve for the internal hinge reactions?

you need to make two equations in last for Ax and Ex, as Mc=0 would also take into account the moment from Ex

Hello I got 31.5 for Ey but my assumption is incorrect because I used clockwise positive. Both 72 kip and 18 kip were positive which resulted a negative direction (down) due to sign change. I’m confused if I’m right or not

So for calculating Ex you don't multiply the distances?

But I thought forces that move in clockwise direction are positive while those that move in anticlockwise direction are negative.
