i think what she mean is.. she living the life she wish, she was in paradise.. but those are not a true happiness.. to reach that paradise she ignores things which is matter. in the end she find that all she get is bitterness. and when she see a woman one day, it reminds her about who she was when everything about to started.. she tell this woman everything she is going through and she wish someone had talk to her, just like she talk to this woman, so everything won't be go wrong this far.

There is a short 5 min doc on this song from Charlene. She gets into some basics about what the song means. From my understanding it is a song where a woman has gone through spousal abuse, an abortion and just wanted to escape. She went into a world that she thought would be satisfying and was not what she thought and turned out she made choices she wished she never did. So now, she wants to tell other women to be wise and be careful of the choices you make. There are consequences in the end and hurt and pain is something she is hoping she can spare someone.
