this was so sweet i remember crying when he called scott his brother and then he called melissa his mom and you realize even though melissa always acted annoyed whenever stiles came in with his key and stuff she did love him like a son

I love how all the parents treated everyone's kid like they would their own child and the child had like multiple father figures, mother figures. it was amazing and so unbelievably refreshing to watch.

Scott saw a father figure in Deaton, Sherrif Stilinski, (later on) Chris Argent.
Stiles saw a mother figure in Melissa McCall.
Issac started to care for Melissa and Chris like his parents and the rest of the kids had great relationships with the parents. The only kids that were really excluded were the twins, and Jackson but that just came down to the fact that nobody felt like they could trust them.
