The Nissan Qashqai has long been a frontrunner in the crossover category, combining the agility of a traditional hatchback with the robustness of an SUV. It boasts enhanced features that elevate its appeal, ensuring it remains a top choice for those who desire versatility without compromise.

The Qashqai’s exterior has a modern, assertive look. Its athletic stance is further accentuated by sculpted lines and a tapering roofline, which not only contribute to a dynamic aesthetic but also enhance aerodynamic performance.

With a selection of vibrant colours and wheel designs, the Qashqai allows for personalisation that can match any style or preference, making it a true standout in both urban jungles and suburban settings.

Step inside the Qashqai, and you’ll find a sanctuary of sophistication and technology. The cabin is spacious, offering ample legroom and headspace for all passengers, a boon for family outings or carpooling with friends. The use of premium materials throughout creates a feeling of luxury that’s rare in this price segment.

The dashboard is a high-tech command centre, featuring an infotainment system that includes a large touchscreen, smartphone integration, and a fully digital driver’s display. These elements ensure that whether you're navigating through tight city streets or cruising down the motorway, every piece of information you need is right at your fingertips.

Under the bonnet, the Qashqai doesn’t just keep up; it leads the pack. The range of powertrains has been refined to offer better fuel efficiency and reduced emissions, making the Qashqai a smarter choice for the environmentally conscious driver. The introduction of mild-hybrid technology adds an extra layer of efficiency, subtly assisting the engine and reducing overall fuel consumption.

Driving dynamics are where the Qashqai truly shines. The steering is precise, giving the driver a confident sense of control, while the suspension is tuned to strike a perfect balance between comfort and responsiveness. This makes the Qashqai as enjoyable to drive on winding rural roads as it is practical in urban environments.

Nissan has packed the Qashqai with an array of advanced safety features, making it one of the safest vehicles in its class. Technologies such as ProPILOT assist, which helps maintain a safe distance from the car ahead and keeps you centred in your lane, are not just impressive; they provide peace of mind, especially on long journeys or hectic commutes.

The Nissan Qashqai continues to redefine what we expect from a compact crossover. With its sleek styling, state-of-the-art technology, and dynamic performance, it's more than just a car—it’s a lifestyle enhancer. Whether you're navigating the challenges of family logistics or seeking a reliable companion for your next adventure, the Qashqai promises to be a dependable, delightful choice.

Hi Both, I have had my eyes on a Nissan Qashqai with the new ePowertrain for a while now. How would you compare it against the Honda HRV, since I was tick boxing against my HRV that I have had for just over a year now and I think there are many comparisons between the two cars. What I have got used to in the Honda is how easy to drive it is, fuel economy, and flexibility, and speed of conversion, had some big old loads in mine, magic seats just made for garden centres! The one problem with wide opening doors is that they are prone to damage on the door edges. Looking forward to the road trip and I can soak in the ambience with you both.😊

Nice review! Qashqai is also one of the few Japanese cars still manufactured in the UK. Quite a big factory in Washington, Sunderland

Hi Enjoyed the SUV and all your comments about the vehicle and its layouts, the self-charging system seems a great idea. No home charging, what size batteries does it hold seeing that you can drive on EV only, and what sort of mileage can you expect, I would like to have more info, please, Can you leave me a link for a Brochure and Spec. seeing you have had this awhile, regarding the ware and tare of the inside, maybe more info as requested Great video by both of you. Regards welshman 2081
