It's an art piece called “Can't Help Myself” and it's designed to detect and collect the hydraulic fluid on the floor, in order to stay alive. But as the robot collects the fluid from one part of the floor, it continues to spread even further everywhere else creating an endless cycle of work. When it first launched in 2016, the robot was fueled with energy almost acting playful. It moved with a sense of purpose, efficiently collecting the fluid and even dancing when it had extra energy. But as the robot realized that there was no end to collecting this ever-spreading liquid, it started appearing worn out and hopeless. Like the robot, we often feel stuck in endless cycles—maybe it's time to break free and find your true purpose.

For some reason the way i perceive this, is that

they start with lots of Energy, and having a good, happy, innocent mind as a child but as time goes on, they realize that its all hopeless, like growing up and becoming a teenager, and it goes on through adulthood, up until they accept that theres no way to completely clean it up, as it continues spreading. Trying to keep happy is hard. But keep going. Domt give up.

Thats what i think the message is; never give up, until you succeed.

It was just given an objective to collect the liquid, it doesn't run on it. And, again, it was just programmed to dance. It only got "worn out" because, how do I explain it? IT'S A ROBOT, it just got older and older.

However, it only lasted 3 years as the creators powered it down because it was getting old.

The robot did not get hopeless as robots can’t feel emotion (so far atleast) it just got rusty and slowed down due to the rust. And it’s powered by electricity, not the liquid, this guy did not understand the art peice at all

The robot wasn't trying to do anything. It was programmed to do what its creator wanted it to do. There's no sentience. It was purposefully designed to mimic human panic, that's it. The robot feels nothing, no fear, no exhaustion, nothing. It's just metal and wires.
