Sorry folks, Buddy’s pizza is not the Buddy’s pizza that won all the awards in the 60-70’s. That chef was the late Louie T. Who opened Louis pizza in Hazel Park in 1977, making that same pizza he made at the original Buddy’s in Conant in Detroit. So if you want the original Detroit pizza from Buddy’s you’ll have to go to Loui’s to get it.👍

I’m from Detroit, and I’m sorry but this video is awful. Not the restaurants mentioned, but the production value. For me the worst aspect is the narration. AI generated, has absolutely zero enthusiasm, which is the polar opposite if one wants to generate interest. My opinion, please rethink before spending money on other production.

Now… I CAN recommend both Lafayette Coney Island Hot Dogs & Buddy’s Pizza. Both are long-standing, iconic establishments!

American Coney island beats Lafayette everyday of the week Grace Keros and American Coney are 3rd generation and the original Coney in Detroit call them or check the web for a Coney Kit shipped anywhere and get the real taste of Detroit the original
