The view from Canukistan. I've been around and aware long enough to have witnessed the highs and lows of the United States since Viet Nam. During this stretch I may have vocalized about one thing or another, but only to those in immediate earshot.

Times have changed and in at least a geopolitical sense not for the better. It is time for the US to give its self a good head shake. Both parties need to seriously have a major rethink about what they and the country really stand for in relation to the populace and the rest of the world.

The mainstream news media need to quit pussyfooting around and as whole call out the President. If you start calling him wholesale front page as a lair, he will do as he always does and sue. Documentation will be required and he will have to cough up what he has.

Normally, I respect those with different views than me (religion vs science/democrat vs republican/cat vs dog), but this is the time to put that aside. We need to double down on Trump supporters and make them know he is a liar and a criminal. We cannot have someone like that running this country. Don't yell at them. Don't fight about it. Just state the facts. In fact, the calmer you are, the better; because I promise you, Trump supporters are anything but calm. But we must be in their face at every opportunity. We must wear them down to the point they are tired of fighting about it. Wars are won in the will and we are at war from within whether you acknowledge it or not.
