Показать описание

With today’s lightweight components, torque wrench use in the shop is no longer an option — it’s a must for every mechanic. The TW-5.2 is a high quality, ratcheting, click-type torque wrench that accurately measures and applies the proper amount of torque to a component’s threaded fastener(s). With a range of 2-14Nm, the TW-5.2 is designed for the lower torque settings that a shop or consumer would use for proper seat post, seat clamp and handlebar / stem applications. Comes with its own protective case.

• 2–14 Newton meter range (18–124 Inch Pounds)
• Adjustable in 0.4 Nm increments
• Ratcheting 3/8" drive
• Reads and registers for both left hand and right hand threading
• Dial-adjust system allows desired torque setting to be preset
• Conversion scale on tool body
• Calibrated to be accurate to +/- 4%
• Length: 22.9cm (9")

NOTE: Torque wrenches are measuring instruments and are not intended for use as a general-purpose ratcheting driver. Do not exceed 14 Nm when using the TW-5.2.

Would have been good to explain the settings.

Just received this in the mail.

When the wrench is zeroed at 0nm, the dial reads 0.2nm thereabouts - it hits a stop, no more travel.

At every even torque value ie. 2, 4, 6 etc... Lining up the measurement window black line with the redline, the dial appears shy of being at 0 and shows the red line a very tiny notch away from the black line measurement. This basically means anyone who is assuming a 4nm or 8nm measurement will end up with a 3.8nm or 7.8nm setting.

@Park tool, is this the way it's supposed to be ? I read a response of yours to another commenter re: turning 1/16th of a turn to get it exact. ?

Am on the brink of sending this tool back, but if it's manufactured this way then I'm fine with it.

Hello, I bought a park tool 5.2 torque wrench and when I received it it was set to 2Nm. When I'm not using it, how many Nm should I leave it at (2 Nm or 0 Nm)?? Thank you for your answer and have a nice day

Unfortunately, I dropped mine on the floor and the adjuster at the end of the handle now sticks out further than before, exposing a cog or gear. Can it be repaired? I repair it myself?

Hi Truman, I’ve just got the tw-5.2 but I’ve noticed that when it’s set too 2 nm the red line is above the black line the dial is on 0 does this mean my torque wrench is inaccurate or faulty.

The dial is in 2 newton meter increments. What does that mean? I have a seat post that is to be tightened to 5-7 NM. What do I set the dial to?

I purchased this to assemble my new E-Bike when it arrives & I was wondering if you can use this to loosen nuts besides torque tightening them? I've read you shouldn't use a torque wrench to loosen or remove nuts & bolts, that it may damage it.

Should we always reset to 2nm for the TW-5.2 and 10nm for the TW-6.2 when putting it back in its case for storage?

Is it ok to use it also to simply unscrew or it may damage/ruin the wrench?

I bought one of these last week and I can't get an effective click in almost none of the torque settings, although the head tilts. The most clear and almost "click" I can get is over 10Nm. Is that normal? Will it change after several uses? Also, at the loose end of the locking ring the line of the scale window is way before the 2Nm mark. Is that normal too when this wrench is from 2Nm to 14Nm? Shouldn't 2Nm be the limit? How do I know this wrench is correctly calibrated?

Mine definitely does not click like that. And when bringing it to 2nm the dial does not line up with 0.

@ 0:58 the red line shows half way between 6 and 8. I'm pretty sure the only number between 6 and 8 is 7? Therefore 7+1.2= 8.2
I'm no mathematician but this seems to be simple?

Just got my tw-5.2 have noticed that the numbers on the twist part dont line up with the numbers in the window. For example with the red line on 2 in the window the twist part reads 0.4 is this correct as hard to get accurate settings.
