Brian, this is a fantastic tutorial and an excellent starting point for my project. Thank you so much for making this available to the public. Also, I have cited GIS for Disaster Management in a discussion post!

I was wondering if you go into detail about using the Field Calculator in any of your videos? By "going intovdetail", I mean a thorough explanation of how to use it for begginer, intermediate, and advanced Python Scripting. I haven't check any other videos.

The reason I ask this is because 1) there isn't much really in depth explanations that I have found, and 2) I'm a GIS Technician I and I use Field calculations often.

hi I'm 20 years old, and starting my first year of college in September, "GIS and urban planning" I'm a bit nervous having to learn coding, do you NEED to learn coding to get a high paying GIS job? and if so, is it just basic coding I will need or will I need to know advanced coding?

Do you have an experienced programmers version of this? I need the GIS part, not the 'What is programming'. Thanks
