I used to think that the level of magnetism he set it on was realistically random. Like- just setting it somewhere like around 75%. But eventually I realized that it was set for that level to be the only level for the magnetism to build up. So even if he went any higher, it wouldn't have went above that point. And any lower and it would not have begun to process.
