Basic Navigation - Bash Basics (Linux CLI)

I've often used the Linux terminal within my videos, but I've never made a guide for Linux users who are GNU to the CLI. In this series, we'll be taking a look at a variety of commands available within the Bash shell, as well as other basic command-line utilities included with popular distributions.

In this first episode, we'll cover basic navigation between directories on our system.

I learned to update Manjaro with pacman in terminal, now it's the only way I do it. A daily essentials cheat sheet would be great! Looking forward to more in the series.

How can we relax the permissions for ALL the files in a folder? Many times I have struggled with mp3 music files permissions one by one to make them easy to copy to different machine or backup to different drive. That little box that says "apply to all files in the folder " doesn't always work. (GUI) method.

Much in common with MS-DOS for those of us old enough to have used it, pre-Windows.

But I switched to Linux because of Windows 10 spying and all :)
