you can press ctrl + enter and it lists out a bunch of suggestions in a separate window. its pretty cool, almost replaces googling in a way. Its not quite there, but man its cool.

This is why programmers will never fully be replaced. Knowing how/what to prompt and most importantly how to troubleshoot. Copilot and ChatGPT are not perfect and I would suspect they never will be. I've found Copilot to suggest really interesting things over the past few months, but I will say it is powerful at picking up what you are trying to do in large projects.

If it doesn't "do anything" or "can't think of anything" you should hit "Ctrl +F2" which brings up Copilot's solutions.

This makes me feel like maybe I can do web dev as well. Currently doing Python and am a bit intimidated at the prospect of going back to web dev after having been away for many years. This gives me hope lol.

As someone who doesn't know JS I couldn't have created this website even with Copilot. I guess people still need to learn the language and when they know it they can create websites much faster.
