I had my First Colonoscopy when I was 65. I woke up during the procedure and the pain I was in was horrible. I told my doctor and I will never have another one again. He's Made 3 appointments for me and I Cancelled everyone of them. I am now 70 yrs young :) and I am on a plant based diet.. This suits me just perfect as this is what I Love. I have lost 12 pounds and my blood tests came out perfect. I no longer struggle with trying to keep my blood Pressure under control or my cholesterol.

Thank you for the information. I'm a breast cancer survivor three times: lumpectomy first time after years of mammograms, which led to total mastectomy of same breast 14 years later, after many more mammograms, then cancer third time in the other breast after dye contrast MRI's. I recently bought Ty Bollinger's videos about cancer cure and found out that all the tests could have caused breast cancer. I'm pretty upset with the American healthcare Cash for King approach bc I believe I got cancer from the tests. I am scheduled for a another colonoscopy next week. I'm cancelling it tomorrow. I'm 69 and after listening to Dr. McDougall just now, I'm not going to allow more tests other than a stool sample test. I'm so annoyed that I was sucked into the tests. If any doctor had taught me about putting good food into my body, I believe I would never had cancer in the first place. What happened to the oath doctors take of doing No harm?

Ty Bollinger's videos on the cure for cancer features Dr. McDougall as one of the Many doctors who say cancer can be cured with good diet, essential oils, and good supplements. I believe I would still have my beautiful breasts today if I had known about alternative approaches. Any woman reading this comment, please heed my warning! Don't let any doctor rush you into immediate surgery chemotherapy or radiation within a few weeks time. You have time to meditate, improve your diet and research everything that can kill cancer. And... there's lots of food etc that can kill

Dr. McDougall is a great speaker. I'll be 17 in a month, and Dr. McDougall is a hero to me, he's the reason I want to become a doctor and spread the vegan message, thanks to the Starch Solution.

I've had 2 friends go to the doctor for a checkup and I wish they didn't.

1st friend had small painful blisters in mouth, they said it was cancer and made her do chemo and radiation, she literally got the life sucked out of her from it, she looked horrible, skinny, no hair then died shortly after.

2nd friend He had zero symptoms but his routine checkup show he had colon cancer, they made him do chemo and radiation and he was dead 3 months later .

My point is chemotherapy and radiation kill.

Dr Burkitt was Irish, born in Enniskillen. Initially studied engineering in TCD Dublin before changing to medicine. His accent is Irish.

He was a hero of my mother from 1970s. She is still in sound health at age 98 yrs.

Thanks for the upload, Jeff. I've been vegetarian for 30 years but Dr. McDougall made me want to go vegan. Just didn't realize all the negative effects of dairy.

This guy is a great natural speaker. I had heard about him from guys like Vegan Gains and Mic. the Vegan, but never checked him out. Recently I binge watched tons of Michael Greger videos, but this guy is something else. This man is one of very few people whose talks can take an hour or more and I can actually sit and watch it in its entirety without a break.

As a former G.I technician . I did in fact see a couple of cases of perforations during procedure. That alone cause be to decline a colonoscopy for myself. Not to mention the possibility of an improperly cleaned scope. I don’t discourage others, but for me.. no thank you

My concern is my prostate. My dad had prostate cancer at 75. He was miserable with the treatment; bleeding, incontinence.
My PSA is 14. It was 5 about ten yrs ago. I'm 60. So, . I think I may have the early stages of ca. But I dont want another biopsy. I just became a Vegetarian, maybe soon to be veganism, stopped drinking, no smoking. Good luck to me! We'll see. THANKS doc.

They will screen and screen and screen till they DO find cancer. One mammogram is equivalent to 1000 chest X-Rays, guess where breast cancer invariably starts!!

19:00 What Dr. McDougal might also point out is that many of the doctors who prescribe expensive surgery, now have their own surgery centers, where they can charge you a premium for hosting your surgery, rather than the hospital make much of that money. IOW, they control more of the profits when it's done in their own surgery centers.
