Integration By Trig Substitution (Introduction)

This Calculus 2 video explains the method of integration by trig substitution. We give you an overview of integrating using trigonometric substitution and recognizing each type of substitution (sine, tangent, and secant). We also work an introductory example of an integration using trigonometric substitution. This is a typical integration technique commonly found in a Calculus 2 or AP Calculus course.
