I can’t wait for season 2‼️Foundation is very old and slow source material. This series from the outside looks vastly different, but it’s hart is still Foundation. If the Foundation tv series was made exactly like the books no one would be watching because the books are just dated, they are beautiful and complex but they’re very slow with very little action. I watch this series as a fan fiction. It’s flawed, but a lot of heart and hard work has been poured into this series. I mean you should watch how the show runner talks about this series he is really sincere. It’s definitely worth the watch. I’ll give it a 7/10

If you want a movie experience that is more faithful to Isaac Asimov's original Foundation series there are much better options available than Apple's version: Star Wars, Dune, Animal House, Happy Gilmore, Mean Girls, Shrek, etc., etc.

Lee Pace is out of this world. Demercel and Harry are also amazing but the two female leads kinda ruined it for me. Still a great show tho.

The problem with this series is... I found only the empire bits interesting and fun to watch. The Foundation part of it was extremely boring. I have no idea what to expect from this season....

Have to YouTube so many season 2 trailer until they allow comments on one of them. Cue the **its afraid** meme. And they should be. This show was awful save for Empire, now they made him a Homer Simpson like bumbling fool… no reason to watch S2.

Isaac Asimov will be turning in his grave at the mutilation of his masterpiece. I hope everyone reads the FOUNDATION series before watching this heavily adulterated "modern version" that seeks to soothe all kinds of sensibilities, instead of sticking to the soul of the story

The books were smart, had subtle humour and told a story that in itself was timeless by design (except for all the smoking and nuclear reactors ^^). It would have been easy with todays technology to give the whole thing the Peter Jackson treatment and score a major hit. Instead we get a dumbed down story that only hints at the books - and mindless, endless action. This is just another Rings of Power money grab, style over substance with trendy gender changes, explosions and a lot of whining. Whatever imperial doofus peon wrote the script for this pile of sh*te just read the Cliffsnotes and decided they can do one better than Asimov. Read the books again and you will see why this is kinda funny ^^

What's the quickest way to destroy a TV show?

-By jumping on the wagon of the gender debate and suddenly defining the entire course of the series exclusively in terms of transgender and turning the serious core of the series into a comedy show.
What a waste of time and money. The same bullsh-- as with Rings of Power (Amazon).
