The Story: When these officers responded to a theft suspect call, they didn't know they would be running into probably one of the funniest foot chases. When they entered the store, they quickly spotted a woman attempting to slip away unnoticed. As an officer approached her, motioning for her to step aside, the woman hesitated before making a sudden dash for the entrance, and this happened:

The officer managed to catch up to her and take her in, but she ended up only being charged with resisting without violence.

The best part is the store didn’t want to press charges so if she didn’t run she would have likely just had a trespass warning and no charges. Instead she lost some teeth and resisting charges.

Her family even came in to make a complaint, but the lieutenant explained she ran into a pole without the officer even touching her. They didn’t follow through with a complaint.
