🧩 Here is a hint for the puzzle at the end of the video:

That bottom row is tricky.. Something looks different about that boy. Also, I seem to recall that multiplication needs to be done before addition.

❌ Common incorrect answers: 10,12,14,15,23,30,40,48, or 60

If you think you have the right answer or want to give up, the solution is in the bottom of the description.

This is absolutely THE BEST multimeter tutorial!! I can now test more than just batteries with my multimeter, which happens to be the same one as yours (given to me as a gift years ago). THANK YOU for taking the time to share this information!! 🙏

About the best tutorial on any topic, that I have ever found at YouTube. And thank you for not having background music and otherwise trying to make big video production and such. Just simple, straightforward talk, as you have given, is exactly what we need.

Hi Jay, one of the best quality you have isn't only the way you describe intelligently, but your
" HUMBLENESS "

Thanks for the instruction on how to use the meter for boiler testing. I have been doing my own boiler repair with the help of my brother-in-law who is 250 miles away by phone. After watching your instruction on how to test the different functions of the boiler with your meter I now have a better understanding of what my brother-in-law is talking about. I also understand how to use my clamp meter which is a Klein CL 390. Thanks for the help.

I needed a new meter for performing maintenance around the house because my old one died. I looked at lots of meters but based on your videos I decided to buy the UEI DL389B TRMS Dual Display Clamp Meter   It is still in transit to me so I decided to watch this video again and I am even more happy that I got this meter. It is not the Pro + model but since I am only using it around the house so I am OK with that.
Until I become fully comfortable with all the features of this new meter I will likely be watching this video again when the meter arrives at the house. I watch all your videos and am grateful you explain them so well. Thanks for another great video!

Funny, I’ve had the UEI G-2 PRO:DL379 for about 10 years, same as yours really, I see no difference at all, I’ve never known how to really use it, I’ve had life long electricians get pissed at me because my meter was better than theirs, I’m just a lowly heat guy lol, I’m glad you made this video with this meter, I could’ve been checking flame rods the easy way all his time, and I didn’t know about the voltage tester either. The max/min button is going to be great to use, 38 years in the heating and plumbing trade, I’m just starting to do AC, you’re helping a lot, for me to learn, I have to understand the Why first, then it all comes easy because I know how it works, the rest is simple, your videos are helping me a lot. Thanks Jay, you’re doing a great job. 🇮🇹😎🇮🇹

I bought one of those meters. Directions weren't all that detailed. Now that I have watched your video, I am very comfortable with the meter. Thanks for a great video!

Well worth the 42 mins. Thank you. I have learned more about a Meter and Furnace than I knew. I have to clean the flame sensor on my Furnace every year.

Thanks so much for the complete overview of the function of a multimeter. I have one similar to yours and a bunch of those cheap 10.00 ones but am so frustrated because I know so little about how to use them other than continuity and volts. I'm so glad I discovered your channel and no wonder why you have over 400K subscribers. This has been a really valuable crash course in the operation of this tool. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Great teacher! And the " side tracks" you talk about are just as valuable as your main points! Thanks for your work!

Brilliant! The instructions that came with my meter were not very clear in parts, but you have made everything clear for me. Very glad I found this video. Living in England of course the voltage I have to contend with is 240, which is not to be fooled with at any time. Thanks for your guidance. Doing any electrical work is potentially dangerous, and should be emphasised all the time, that if you have any doubts about what you are doing, leave it alone, and call a professional!
