Gravitational Lensing Tests cont'd magnetic / electric fields on laser beam.

Electric, magnetic fields, AC electromagnetic fields, and square waves, and ramp wave driven fields. Do they have influence on local vacuum permittivity/permeability, and thus the refractive index of space? Could this cause observeable gravity lensing on a workbench?

I would suggest putting a thin opaque tube on the end of the laser, so that when you are passing the objects next to the beam, there is no reflection or diffraction off the object itself.
