Is this the best trainer for Hyrox, Turf Games, Athx? Are these better than Puma? A review of the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 through the optics of a Hyrox athlete. Also....is Pink the fastest shoe colour of all?

This review includes an unboxing, spec list, then tested through a long steady run, a Hyrox gym session and a speedwork sessions. The idea is to get a well rounded first impression as to whether this to determine if this shoe be the one I want to take to Hyrox London.
This particular trainer was chosen for a few reasons but mainly because it features in the Elite 15 more than any other shoe. Most recently in a record breaking doubles attempt John Wynn wore these when partnered up with Hunter McIntyre.
A combination of foam, carbon, shape and height all contrbute toward this being an excellent all round trainer and one at the very top of the Hyrox trainer list.

I compare it against other carbon super shoes that I have owned including my most recent Hyrox tested shoe the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 2. I also highlight the pros and cons of the shoe and how its a front runner for the infamous 'do it all' trainer.

Absolutely love my Pro 3s. I PB'd in the mara twice in them.

Upper is so comfy, fit and lockdown is spot on. Midsole is amazing, bouncy yet responsive and snappy especially for me who forefoot strike and I get most benefit of that Speedroll which is just a joy to run in. I still think the Vaporflys are still top but boy the Pro 3s are right up there.

Nearly 400km in them now and I think its time to call it a day in them and retire.

Here's me hoping Saucony have improved the Pro 4 and made it even better as leaks of those have started to show and should be realising soon.

Yep, sock-a-knee 😛 Ran a soaking wet Boston in these, pretty much the ideal mix of speed and comfort when it comes to plated race shoes. Should be a steal the next few weeks with Black Friday coming up, and first images of V4 popping up ... Get 'em while you can!!

Great video review Martin. How firm is the heel counter on the Saucony? Ran a Hyrox Pro in the Pume Velocity Nitro 2, and the heel counter was so flimsy my foot slipped out 3 times on the sleds desoite heel lock 🤦

Out of box i ran in them and PB’ed in a 10k race. My feet love them.

I have over pronation feet.. will this shoes give good support during the run on hyrox??
