I Vow to Thee My Country- Festival of Remembrance 2017

The Royal British Legion, whose patron is HM Queen Elizabeth II, holds its annual Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall in London on the 11th of November, 2017. The lyrics of "I Vow to Thee, My Country" is a patriotic hymn by Sir Cecil Spring Rice set into music by Gustav Holst from a section of Jupiter from his suite The Planets.

I’m Aussie born with Tongan parents. Britain didn’t colonise Tonga but our royal family still speak English with a British accent, they dress like the British during wedding and coronation ceremonies and our king still gets around the island in a British cab lol AND my parents came to Australia - a British colony - for a better life. Thank you, Britain, for your contribution to the world!
