Ventress probably is stronger in the Force, has more potential and is ahead in dueling. She managed to hold her own against mid-TCW Anakin and Obi-Wan together. Granted, those versions a well below ROTS, but at least TCW S3 Anakin was more powerful than Kit Fisto ever became.

Also, always got the impression Ventress was in between Obi-Wan and Anakin in age, whereas Kit is older than Obi-Wan (hence why potential goes to Ventress).

Kit Fisto is a master Shi Cho and a jedi consular that means he can use force healing, he also wins low-mid diff. Lets be honest the girl has no potential.
