Hopefully you can answer this. I have a fairly robust tripod with a ball head. Will an L bracket help prevent the camera from drooping? Example I take a photo of the moon, get ready to shot the picture and the camera starts to move down. camera setup is 2.5 lbs. Great video too and explanation easy to understand.

Not gunna lie, I would find switching the camera this way much more annoying than dealing with doing it with the ball head. Bigger lenses have lens mounts, so that is moot, and lighter lenses that don’t, well not an issue with balance on the tripod. So, I would never use this enough to be worth buying..
