The fact that people agreed to be videoed, share their experiences and interact in english and not dutch is itself a testament to show that hollanders are not that atomistic individuals who never care for anyone. Everyone were very welcoming and cognizant of issuesand had their own perspectives. The fact that a death is a place one celebrates the deceased's life and not mourn and cry over is very intriguing and fascinating of sorts.

Definitely will visit Holland for sure.

I just feel this documentary is a journey in itself. I started it with a big smile, got lost in the narratives midway, deep dived into different perspectives offered by each of them and then ended it with biggest possible smile. Loved it! ❤

Time and again I warn tourists: Amsterdam isn't the Netherlands, yet they think it to be true. It isn't. Amsterdam is the caricature of the Netherlands where everything is pretty. Look behind the scenes and you find a very different place: Trying to make it work for most, while knowing you can't.
