I'm a survivor of a head on collision caused by a driver texting. I was on life support 4 days. After many broken bones, and internal damage, God has restored me to almost perfect condition. I'm thankful for my multiple scars. They speak of the power of our Jesus! I'm thankful for His scars that He endured for all of us. What a Savior!!!!

As much as I regret my decisions pursuing the wrong path, the scars revealed the brokeness I had in my life. They revealed where I was heading and where I NEEDED to go. Back into the arms of our Lord. I may have to live with a chronic autoimmune disease but my life has been restored. My addictions put under the heel of Christ. My negative thoughts cast to throne of God. No longer focusing on fear, shame, and guilt but on Him. I found my victory in His scars.

I really relate to this song ! I was paralyzed and badly injured in a bad car accident, and lost all hope! I cut my wrists to the bone and was in ICU for over a week ! After that I started to go to church three times a week, we had groups and Bible studies! Thank the Lord and my family, because I could have never come this far without them, especially GOD ! I give GOD ALL THE GLORY ! I've been in the church for almost 30 years now, and have gone through so many surgeries and struggles ! The thing is I know he is always right their with me ! THANK YOU JESUS!

I have had 16 surgeries and I just turned 15, I know that I hve not had as msymsy as others but this song spoke to me so.much. some people never have to go through 1 operation in there whole lives but for those of us who do we understand each other

In 2017 at the age of 20, I made the decision to have a total hip replacement. Prior to surgery I was almost completely disabled and kept having blackouts from the pain. I was scared the morning of, but I went into the case with Jesus Christ in my heart. On the other side of the operating room I woke up and I felt like a brand new person. 48 hours after surgery, I stood up with confidence and walked my first steps into my new life. Of course, having major surgery left me have with a very long scar. In 2010 I commended my will to Jesus Christ and I served him faithfully through the pain before the surgery and 2 years since. I feel like I know Jesus more close since the surgery. I am thankful for my scars because without them, I wouldn't know who Jesus is.

Had I been told that someday I would be grateful for my time of depression I wouldn't have believed it but I have come to the point where I can look back at the storm God allowed me to go through with gratitude not only for the healing but also for the storm because I can see that there was purpose.
Because of experiencing the pain of thinking that God had rejected me I now have a greater understanding and appreciation for what Jesus did for me on the cross. Because I experienced the joy of Jesus walking on water and of hearing Him say "I love you" when He came to calm the storm in my life; I have a much greater love for Jesus, a story of His goodness that I can tell to encourage others who are going through the storm of depression, and a point I look back at when the storms of life come and say with confidence "God will take me safely through even this".
God is good any pain He allows us to go through has a purpose because His plans are perfect.

Love this song !!! Im thankful for my scars ( not visible) but im thankful my abuser sent me closer to the lord !!! Have been cleansed in the water and the spirit and holy ghost filled !!!
