this song reminds me of me so much because i was adopted when i was 4 years old and later i had 3 brain surgries and lost part of my brain and my church and so many other churches all around the world were praying and i almost died and i was only 11 years old and i heard this song i started to feel the big scar across my head where they cut open to find a tumor spreading really fast but i will always have this scar that is just the way god wanted me god is so good all the time and all the time god is good now 2019 i am 16 a jr in high school i love god

This song means so much to me. My pain, my trial, my journey, was God’s and mine. I got closer to Him and my personal relationship got way stronger. I was baptized January 24th, 2021. He gave me my testimony. Amen.

This was my first time hearing this song and it is exactly what I said at church last night. I have stage 4 cancer and I wouldn't trade it for anything because it shot me straight into the arms of Jesus. He is using my story in some pretty amazing ways. And what I've learned through all of this is priceless. I'm not the same anymore and I'm thankful for ALL of my scars❤️

This song brought me to tears. I first heard it this morning on the way to band camp. I have been suicidal for, a very long time. When I heard my brokeness brought me to you, I broke down. The lyrics hit me. I just recently the other day, redoveted (i forget how it's spelled) my life back to Christ, after being celtic pagan for years and practicing magic. I realized the meaning of this song earlier today. And this song means so much to me.

As a person with some deep emotional trauma in my past, this songs speaks to me on a totally new level, but I believe that everyone has “scars”: bad decisions, unfortunate events, etc. that leave lasting effects on people’s lives. My husband died in my car while I was driving. He had a blood clot hit his heart. We were married for 19 years. I loved him dearly. He was my best friend. God, my church, family and friends got me through. I am thankful for the scars. I am closer to God now because of my husband's death. I am thankful for the scars!

this song really is such a great reminder of what Christ did for us on the cross and it just reminds me of the night I truly gave my life to Christ and it was the greatest night of my life! I've just come out of a trying time, to say the least. This song speaks to me so much because the trials are over for now, and they actually brought me closer to the Lord!
