What is a SWIFT Code?
A SWIFT code is an international bank code that identifies particular banks worldwide. It’s also known as a Bank Identifier Code (BIC). It is one of the popular methods for transferring funds worldwide and this method is usable in Nepal as well as transferring money between banks, in particular for international wire transfers. If you are using Google Adsense, Youtube, Freelancing Websites, Amazon Kindle, Payoneer, etc, and other similar platforms then it is mandatory for you to use a SWIFT code to receive payment from these companies.

Banks in Nepal have their own unique SWIFT code or BIC (Bank Identified Code). This code and your bank account number are required to transfer funds.
