Hey everyone, in today’s video we look at St Judy’s Comet by Paul Simon.

The picking pattern is quite complicated but worth the effort to learn, it sounds great over a lot of songs. Let me know if you have any questions or improvements to the arrangement.

CHORDS (in order they appear):
E11: 0x2132
Amaj7: x02224
D9/A: 5x455x
some diminished thing: 4x3450 (D9/A but moving all finger but pinky towards tuning pegs)
B9/F#: 2x122x
B9: x2122x
E: 022100
A: x02220

Have a great day :)

There's a great video of Paul Playing this on Sesame Street . He talks about how he wrote it for his son Harper, who appears with him (he was about 3)
You can really see his picking style.
He also plays Me and Julio and El Condor Pas..
Jim Henson had some really great musical guests

Ive come here to beg you to do Thelma or The Coast from Rhythm of the Saints! 🫣🥰 Two of my favorites and noone has done an acoustic cover that I can find.

Can I add 1 more to your list. More of a deep cut but a beautiful guitar song from Paul Simon. It's called Jonah from the album 'One Trick Pony'. Just a gorgeous guitar song.

I wish I had thought of that song. What a great one to cover. Can you possibly include a chord chart on this one. Lots of chords. Thanks!
