Building Ukraine’s Bridge to NATO

We want Ukraine to win – and we’re committed to helping them do it.

At the #NATOSummit in Washington leaders made tangible steps to increase NATO’s role in building a resilient, capable Ukrainian force, and supporting its ongoing reforms to better integrate Ukraine into the Alliance. NATO will coordinate training, security assistance, and equipment transfer, repair, and maintenance. NATO’s senior representative in Ukraine will support NATO’s work in Ukraine to develop Ukraine’s future force and work with Ukraine on interoperability and democratic and security sector reforms. NATO’s taking this lead role in providing assistance to Ukraine is important because it will provide more predictability, efficiency, and accountability when it comes to our support to Ukraine.



🇺🇦 warriors are confronting the greatest threat to transatlantic security since the end of the Cold War, and they have as much experience as any on Earth in fighting the wars to come. They have a lot to teach the Alliance – and NATO will be more secure with 🇺🇦 military by our side.
