Installing GeneratePress WordPress Theme and Deleting Unused Themes

Hi,

In this video, I'm going to show you how I delete all the unnecessary themes that are automatically installed in WordPress when I have a fresh install. I'll also cover how I install the theme I'd like to use.

So, that’s the first step I'm going to take. I'm going to add the Generatepress theme to my site. This will allow me to delete the others without any trouble.

You go to Add Themes and type in Generatepress. It's the first one that pops up.

Click Install, let it do its thing.

Click Activate and now that's your current theme.

Then you can go over to each of these themes that you're no longer going to use. Click Delete until they're all gone.

This is just a personal preference of mine, but I think it keeps things clean. It keeps things out of the way. You know you won't have any trouble if you only have one theme in there and that's it.
