I remember watching this with my family from start to the rescue, we all cheered when they got her.

I was 9 when this happened I think everybody and they mama was watching this none stop

I can remember my Grandmother Louise( Momo) standing by her old heater, in her living room thanking Jesus and The Lord when they rescued her😢❤

I was 15 years old when my mom and I followed this news story around the clock. We could think of almost nothing else until her rescue. I love how America literally stopped for this sweet child. Praise God!

My parents let us stay up late for three days in a row to watch the news coverage of this. We were legit glued to the TV for most of the rescue and we did get to watch her being taken out from the hole. This was the first incident I remember that had live coverage throughout.

I wasn't born that time so I couldn't watch it but glad she's safe!

The Paramedic was a real hero, I wish his family all the best in the world.

I watched this wen my niece was about the same age as baby jessica..my sis in law kept hugging n kissing her baby..believe me there was not a dry eye by the Time she was rescued..She was truly everybody's baby..l live in Kenya..

Man understanding what all they had going up against it’s a miracle that they got her out alive. I was a little too young to remember the incident as it was happening. But I remember all throughout my childhood adults telling us kids to be careful near wells!

I remember this. I believe she lost a toe (not the foot). She was one tough little kid!

I read that not long after this the rescuer died of a heart attack.
