It should say "all the circles are of the same size", because technically, we cannot assume that.

In case anyone is wondering, because he didn't work out the exact value is approximately 10.3

guessing solution:
if you have similar questions to these you always use the area of everything and subtract it by a number hence, 6*8=48
48- something.
so it’s c or d
we know pi is around 3
let’s try c
48-12(3)= 12
now for d
48-24(3)
24(3) is a big number and it’ll just result in a negative, we obviously aren’t having negative area so that leaves us with c for our answer

Answer: C (48-12pi)

Area of square 8x6=48

Area of circles whose diameters are 2: therefore radius of 1^2 x pi x 12
=12xpi = 37.704

48-37.704
=10.296

If I find this question in any non- International math competition, then this is very Easier one, so hard is relative

I'm in 7th grade and paused it and solved it in my head, I've learned a bit from this Chanel but I learned that in 5 or 6th grade

Can someone please tell me where he finds all these ACT/SAT questions for math??? I’m really curious because I also make my own math content on YouTube and a lot of the problems he does are very good problems.

Area of rectangle - (area of 1 circle x 12)

see if you don't know all the formulas. Just do like this. if u arrange all the shaded area in the rectangle like a puzzle you'll notice it covers half of the rectangle. after subtracting half of the rectangle you'll be left with half of the area. so divide the first number 2 time and if the answer matches your 2nd number then that's your answer.

The information l = 6 is redondant, no need for it, it can be calculated as
3 × (2 R) or ¾ (8)

24π is greater than 48 (6times8)... Neednt calculate further... Only one option

there should've been an option that said "no balls"

It should be 12(4 -π)
It just looks better
