There are three certainties in life. Death, taxes, and Harry Kane never lifting a domestic and/or tournament trophy. 🤣

Southgate has to be blamed, didn't adjust to the games, kept sending the same players with the same results, and waited too long for results, thus England failed to play at it's finest. 😢😢😢

I agree that Harry Kane was terrible this euros, but he wasn’t helped by the system we players. If we had proper wingers with pace, his role would have been his more usual one. If we had saka and rashford on the wings pushing back the opposition defence, it would’ve allowed Kane to be more impactful in a deeper role. Also if he has wingers forcing the defence to stay back he can naturally play higher.

The Laturo Martinez/Julian Alvarez point is spot on. A functional team must be created rather than just putting on the "best 11" players.

Time to move from Harry.

He's 31, not naturally athletic, already too slow, and his legs will go over the next 2 years.

He can't press.

He can't function without 2 wides.

The game now requires flexibility and he can only play one way.

LOL! Isn't he supposed to be the best striker in the world according to English pundits?

Play Kane if you want to lose the big game. Happens all the time.

Every one that has managed Harry Kane has had the same problem .

Apart from Christian Erikson and Deli Alli no player has been able successfully and consistently able to pass the ball to Kane in a scoring position.

So all Southgate had to do was play Kane as a number 10 and put Toney or Watkins up front to receive his passess and score.

Kane maybe the best passer of a ball since Hoddle played for England and Spurs both have great vision.

He could also pass the ball to Foden, Palmer, Bellingham and other team members who may find themselves in a forward position.

It baffles me what the press talk to Southgate about, surely Kanes abilities are discussed and reported on, maybe the press are to close to the issues that they cannot see the obvious big elephant in the room.

Perhaps Southgate puts his players in boxes, thats ok if the boxes are connected but they don't seem to be.

He never runs and he's literally never where you need him during an attacking move. It was excruciating to watch and I'm American.

ONE touch inside the opposition’s box over TWO euro finals (180 minutes of football). And now 0-6 in career finals. Not good enough in the games that matter the most.

Answer is it depends how the next manager wants to play and if Harry still wants to and can play for his country. He’s 31 and he may want to prioritise his club career and winning with Bayern?

He’s a 9 and a half and England don’t need him running into the same spaces as Bellingham and Foden.

Lineker retired at 32 from England because he said his legs had gone. Shearer likewise at 30. Rooney is another at 30/31 - but got dropped by Southgate.

Time to move on from Southgate and his "loyal" players like Kane, Walker, Trippier, Pickford and Stones. Time for young players to shine in the international stage for England National Team and plan for future tournaments. I would like to see alot of new faces/uncapped players in the England team.

If Harry doesn't play as first 11, Palmer has to be on. other midfielders can't switch ball from one side to the other. 2 can do it are Shaw and Arnold, but they are full backs and didn't play much either. Jude looked like having the idea sometimes, but he's not very good at long pass.

Lets stop scapegoating kane here, kane is a world class striker no doubt about that he had a bad tournament understandably after a long season on all fronts for a big team like bayern, thats it, we shouldn't forget he wasn't the only one underperforming the whole team was, wether it is due to system or also other players suffering from the same issues after the season especially in england, i'm pretty sure he will do great for bayern next season then everyone will swallow their words, why he is not doing it for england thats up for debate
