Maestro Ortner is a professor, conductor and former Rector of the University of Vienna. I was honored after regular studies of piano and organ and conducting in Kiev to be his student. I have learned a lot. I was singing bass in a church choir, I played on piano chorus scores, I learned how to harmonize, write polyphony, orchestrate. I now know to transpose and improvise.
