For an old school dirt bike rider who was constantly looking over his shoulder when he rode or who heard about friends getting harassed by police for riding their screaming 2-strokes near a residential area the concept of quiet electric motorcross bike was interesting. Think about having the ability to rip around a motocross track no more than 200 yards from a development without bothering anyone! But I must be honest with you in that I was always skeptical. You see, commonsense told me that as the horsepower on these electric bikes went through the roof the decibels would also go through the roof. Put 10 of these bikes similar to the one in this video on a motorcross track and 200 yards from a development and the police will be called because that bike is loud.
